Seychelles Banknotes set of 2017 Series

500 Rupees banknote it is brownish or gold in colour, there appears perched on a branch; the island of Silhouette and the Horne’s Pandanus  tree in the background.  There is Seychelles Vinegar Fly  in the gold thread and clear oval window (similarly on the back of the banknote); oblique lines of the Seychelles flag emanating in the background behind the holographic patch; and Coco-de-mer  nuts as the five tactile printed dots and its catkin flowers as the dual colour UV feature. On the back side of the banknote, there is Seychelles Scops Owl perched on a branch and part of the iridescent stripe; Seychelles Tiger Chameleon  as the vivid colour changing feature and one of the main fauna; Wild Bilimbi flowers as the main flora and dual colour UV feature; and oblique lines of the Seychelles flag emanate in the background.

100 Rupees banknote on the front: Male and female Seychelles Black Paradise Flycatcher  perched on branches; a marshland scenery from the island of La Digue; fruits, seeds and flowers of the Carrot Tree; Cooper’s Black Caecilian and the Aldabra Banded Snail in the metallic thread; oblique lines of the Seychelles flag emanating in the background behind the holographic patch; Coco-de-mer nuts as the four tactile printed dots; and Giant Bronze Gecko eating the Coco-de-mer catkin flowers as the dual colour UV feature. On the back: Two Seychelles Sunbirds perched on branches and part of the iridescent stripe; Aldabra Banded Snail as the vivid colour changing feature and one of the main fauna; Glionnetia sericea leaves and flowers as the main flora and dual colour UV feature; and oblique lines of the Seychelles flag emanate in the background.

50 Rupees banknote on the front there appears a Seychelles Black Parrot perched on a branch; scenery of a Coco-de-mer palm tree from the island of Praslin; fruits of the Seychelles Stilt Palm; fruits and leaves of the Thief Palm; Seychelles Giant Millipede also known as Seychelleptus seychellarum and the Seychelles Tree Frog in the metallic thread. There is  oblique lines of the Seychelles flag emanating in the background behind the holographic patch. On its back: Two Seychelles White-eye perched on branches; several Seychelles Tree Frog as known as Tachycnemis seychellensis on the iridescent stripe, as the dual colour UV feature and as the main fauna amongst the Seychelles Craterispermum leaves and flowers.

25 Rupees banknote there appear on the front: Seychelles Magpie Robin  Northea seychellana plants and Mont Blanc mountain on the island of Mahé; the forest floor amongst banyan trees on the island of Cousine; Seychelles House Snake and the Seychelles Killifish  in the metallic thread; oblique lines of the Seychelles flag emanating in the background behind the holographic patch; and Coco-demer, also known as Lodoicea maldivica nuts as the two tactile printed dots and its fruits and leaf as the dual colour UV feature. The back: Seychelles Blue Pigeon perched on a branch; several Seychelles Killifish on the iridescent stripe, as the dual colour UV feature and as the main fauna behind the Malaxis seychellarum orchid; and oblique lines of the Seychelles flag emanate in the background.
