The Bank of Namibia ( Central ) issued 60-dollar polymer new notes to commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Hage Gottfried Geingob, who devoted 60 years of his life to “service and steadfast dedication to Namibia’s democracy, economic progress, and social inclusion." He also served as 3rd president of Namibia (21 March 2015 – 4 February 2024). Estimated 2,000,000 notes were printed by Oumolat Security Printing in Abu Dhabi, UAE with De la Rue.
