Namibia N$ 30 - Commemorative Banknote Polymer ( 2020)

The Bank of Namibia issued a new N$ 30 - Dollar polymer banknote to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Independence. It is the first polymer note for Namibia, however, Namibia joined a list of countries in Africa that in recent years have issued polymer banknotes.  The theme of the note is " 3 Decades of Peace and Stability", represented by the smooth transition of power since independence between the three presidents who held office from 1990 to 2020.
